About the Foundation
Green Industry Foundation is an independent think tank working towards a sustainable, competitive, and secure transformation of the Polish and European economy. We combine expert knowledge, science, regulations, and industry experience to translate climate, environmental, and economic goals into solutions that can be implemented in practice.
We focus on energy transition, climate change adaptation, the circular economy, industrial decarbonization, new technologies, economic and energy security, as well as the effective implementation of European environmental and climate regulations.
We conduct research, analyses, and expert projects, and prepare reports, expert opinions, recommendations, and solutions supporting public administration, local governments, businesses, and social organizations in the transformation process.
We support the development of sustainable business models, energy and resource efficiency, responsible supply chains, as well as standards and tools for assessing sustainable development.
An important area of our activity is also building competencies for the green economy. We develop educational, training, and advisory programs concerning, among others, EU climate and environmental law, ESG, the circular economy, energy transition, and climate change adaptation.
We operate in Poland and Europe
Green Industry Foundation actively develops international cooperation and participates in building European partnerships for the sustainable transformation of the economy.
The Foundation is one of the founders and a member of the European Green Network (EGN) – a European network of organizations cooperating in the areas of sustainable development, green transition, innovation, and education.
The European Green Network provides a platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices, monitoring European policies and regulations, developing joint international projects, and creating practical solutions supporting the transformation of the European economy.
Engagement in EGN enables Green Industry Foundation to develop cooperation with partners from various European countries, initiate transnational projects, and strengthen the presence of the Polish industrial, economic, and expert perspective in the European debate on the directions of the green transition.
We build partnerships, coalitions, and cooperation networks connecting business, academia, public administration, and the social sector. We implement national and international projects and create opportunities for knowledge exchange between experts and institutions from different European countries.
Our ambition is a transformation that is green, competitive, innovative, and secure at the same time.
We do not merely describe the transformation. We help design, implement, and understand it.
