Education on the Road – Micro-Credentials for Adult Learning
The Green Industry Foundation has become a partner in another international project, "Education on the Road", which aims to develop and implement a micro-credential system (Open Badges) to support adult learning. The initiative is primarily designed for people aged 55+, senior citizens, and adults with limited access to educational opportunities, for whom flexible and practical learning pathways offer a genuine opportunity for personal and professional development.
GreenPower Project
The project's main objective - and its expected outcome - is to strengthen the knowledge and competencies of the project partners in fostering young people's creativity and critical thinking skills, empowering them to play an active role in the green transition. The project focuses on non-formal youth education.
Green Leader Project
The Green Industry Foundation has launched another project aimed at increasing environmental and climate awareness among adults. Below you will find key information about the new initiative. The project's primary strategic objective is to enhance adults' knowledge of climate and environmental protection. By increasing their awareness of these issues, participants will be better equipped to accelerate the green transition within their everyday lives - both in their personal lives and in their professional environments.
Sustainability Academy – ESG Management
The Green Industry Foundation has launched another project focused on the green transition in cooperation with international partners, led by the University of Tourism and Ecology in Sucha Beskidzka. The project's primary objective is to enhance knowledge of sustainable development among business leaders and management teams through vocational education and training.
Smart City for young generation
The project's main objective is to support educators in equipping young people with the knowledge and skills needed for the digital and green transformation of cities across Europe.
Specific Objectives:
– Increase educators' awareness of the benefits of digitalization and the implementation of the Smart City concept, particularly in the context of future careers, the growing demand for highly skilled professionals, and available educational pathways.
– Strengthen educators' digital competencies and promote awareness of the open-use culture as a means of serving society and as an innovative business model.
– Enhance educators' knowledge and competencies in using smart digital technologies to support the climate objectives of the European Green Deal.
Best Practices in Education for Sustainable Development
The project's objective is to establish cooperation with organizations across the European Union in the field of sustainable development and to exchange knowledge and experience in the education and training of business leaders and managers. Together with our Irish partner, EDU SMART, we will develop a Best Practices Report on effective education and training for managers of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). We will also design and pilot training programmes supported by innovative multimedia educational tools.
