Płońska, PhD

An experienced sustainability management executive with a track record in leading European companies in the oil, energy, and chemical industries. She specializes in implementing sustainability strategies aligned with the European Green Deal and the EU Taxonomy, ESG management, and non-financial reporting in accordance with international standards and frameworks, including ESRS, GRI, IIRC, and TCFD.

At PKN ORLEN and Grupa Azoty Polyolefins, she was responsible for developing sustainability strategies, managing ESG ratings, and preparing organizations to secure sustainable financing, including green bonds, sustainability bonds, and project finance for green investments.

She combines her professional expertise with academic research and lectures in MBA and postgraduate programmes on sustainability management and ESG.


 

Sustainable Finance and Investment

Honorata
Fijałka, PhD

Leader in sustainable finance and investment. Since 2008, she has worked with the World Bank as a Senior Advisor, advising HSBC and IFC investment funds that finance the green transition of businesses.

She is also involved in structuring sovereign green bonds in the Middle East, supporting governments in securing funding for sustainable development projects.

As the founder and CEO of Concordiste, she leads a team of experts responsible for verifying green bonds on behalf of the London-based Climate Bonds Initiative (CBI). She advises clients and mobilizes international investment syndicates for the issuance of green bonds and sustainability-linked bonds across the banking, energy, transport, utilities, and real estate sectors.

In cooperation with the Warsaw Stock Exchange, she developed the pioneering Green Bond Framework, supporting listed companies in their inaugural green bond issuances. The programme has since been replicated internationally, including in Kazakhstan.

She has also advised the German and French development agencies on improving the performance of energy efficiency funds in emerging markets with a combined value exceeding EUR 600 million. For the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), she led the marketing of two major credit lines supporting green finance in Central and Eastern Europe.

She holds a Master's degree in Finance from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and HEC Paris, a Ph.D. in Political Science, and is a graduate of the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.

Lewandowski, PhD 

Vice President of the Green Industry Foundation and Partner at Innteo Legal.

A legal expert and analyst specializing in Polish and EU sustainability and ESG regulations. As a qualified legal counsel, he has extensive experience in corporate and employment law.

He has many years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex organizational and strategic transformation projects. He is the author of numerous publications, reports, and educational materials on sustainable development and was awarded the First Prize of the Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University for his scientific achievements.


 

Economics

Justyna Łapińska, PhD, University Professor

Professor at the Department of Organizational Behaviour and Marketing at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

She graduated in both Management and Czech Philology and teaches economics and finance, management, logistics, and business communication and psychology.

Her research focuses on two main areas. In economics and finance, she specializes in international finance, international trade, and modern trade theories. In management sciences, she focuses on sustainable development, innovation management, future competencies, and the behavioural aspects of artificial intelligence implementation.

She has authored more than 100 scientific publications and expert reports and has presented her research at numerous national and international conferences.

Since 2019, she has served on advisory committees at the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education, evaluating projects under the Diamond Grant, Iuventus Plus, and Pearls of Science programmes.

She collaborates closely with the Brno University of Technology, participating in research projects and serving on the Faculty Scientific Council. She also provides expert consultancy for businesses, foundations, and associations in Poland and the Czech Republic.


 

Technology Management

Grzegorz Kądzielawski, PhD

Doctor of Law and experienced executive specializing in innovation management and the commercialization of research and development projects.

He has supervised hundreds of R&D projects and investments, including the largest chemical industry investment in Central and Eastern Europe. He has developed and implemented strategies for SMEs and major European industrial groups and has led climate and energy transformation initiatives as well as circular economy implementation in commercial enterprises.

He has collaborated with numerous industrial organizations and previously served as Vice President of Fertilizers Europe and Board Member of the UN Global Compact. He also advised the President of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.

Currently, he is Assistant Professor at WSB University and Director of the Institute for AI Research. He is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications on technology management.


 

Risk Management

Marcin
Mazgaj, PhD

Legal counsel, insurance and reinsurance broker at Cliffsidebrokers S.A., and specialist in enterprise risk management.

He is an expert in business continuity planning (BCP) and has extensive experience designing comprehensive insurance programmes for local government authorities.

Combining legal expertise with practical risk management, he supports organizations in building resilient and secure business environments.

He is a long-standing Board Member of the Polish Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers and Vice President of the Kraków Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

prof. Marek Bugdol

Kierownik Katedry Zarządzania Jakością UJ, koordynator prac innowacyjno-rozwojowych, specjalizuje się we wdrażaniu i audytowaniu systemów zarządzania

Head of the Department of Quality Management at the Jagiellonian University and coordinator of innovation and development projects.

Professor Bugdol specializes in implementing and auditing management systems. Throughout his career, he has worked in both large industrial enterprises and the public sector, holding positions ranging from production worker to HR and marketing manager, as well as County Governor.

He is an experienced quality manager, lead auditor, and supervisory board member. His publications cover quality management, workplace culture, anti-discrimination policies, workplace bullying, and counterproductive work behaviours.


 

Future Skills

Bartosz
Sobotka, PhD

Doctor of Economics (SGH Warsaw School of Economics), graduate of International Relations at the University of Warsaw and Law at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.

As Development Director at Syntea S.A., he focuses on aligning labour market needs with education systems across Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. He also coordinates the Sector Skills Council for Modern Business Services.

Previously, he worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and later at the Lublin City Office, where he was responsible for investor relations and investment zone development.

He has participated as an expert in numerous projects aimed at adapting higher education to labour market needs, particularly within the business services sector.  He is the author and co-author of dozens of publications, including the book Competencies of Tomorrow.


 

Strategic and Crisis Communications

Dorota Grabowska

Expert in strategic, media, and crisis communications, journalist, and executive with nearly twenty years of experience in media, public administration, and professional training.

She spent 19 years with Polish Television (TVP), serving as reporter, news presenter, editor, producer, and ultimately Director and Editor-in-Chief of TVP3 Lublin, where she managed a team of nearly 200 employees during one of the most challenging periods in public broadcasting.

Her experience in public administration includes serving as Press Secretary to the Governor of the Lublin Voivodeship, where she was responsible for media relations, crisis communications, and public information.

She specializes in crisis communication, media relations, personal branding, executive branding, and employer branding. She delivers training and workshops for public institutions, businesses, and NGOs, helping leaders build credible public profiles and effective communication strategies.

Since 2023, she has lectured at the University of Entrepreneurship and Administration in Lublin, teaching journalism, public communication, and personal branding.

She holds degrees in Journalism and Social Communication, Film Directing, and an Executive MBA, combining academic knowledge with extensive executive and public sector experience.
