GreenPower Project


Dear Sir or Madam, we are pleased to announce that the Green Industry Foundation is implementing another project aimed at increasing knowledge of climate and environmental protection while enhancing the quality, innovation, and recognition of youth work.

Below you will find key information about the project.

Project Title: Green Power
Project Duration: 1 December 2023 – 30 November 2024

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The main objective of the project - and its expected outcome - is to strengthen the knowledge and competencies of the project partners in fostering creativity and critical thinking among young people, empowering them to play an active role in the green transition. The project focuses on non-formal youth education.

The project objectives will be achieved through:

  1. Collecting information and best practices related to fostering creativity and critical thinking.
  2. Developing and testing training materials for educators aimed at strengthening creativity and critical thinking skills.

The project will deliver the following outputs:

  1. A collection of best practices for fostering creativity and critical thinking.
  2. Tested training materials for educators focused on developing creativity and critical thinking skills.

The direct outcomes of the project will include:

  1. Enhanced knowledge and competencies of the partners' experts in fostering creativity and critical thinking.
  2. An expanded portfolio of tools and resources (including the collection of best practices and training materials) used by the partners to support the development of new staff and collaborators.
  3. An expanded network of cooperation among the project partners.
  4. Open access to the collection of best practices and training materials for partner organizations, educational institutions, and educators interested in strengthening youth work.

The project primarily addresses two Erasmus+ priorities. First, it contributes to the Horizontal Priority on the environment and the fight against climate change. Second, it supports the Sectoral Priority focused on improving the quality, innovation, and recognition of youth work. Through the activities carried out within the project, the partners will expand their knowledge and expertise in fostering creativity and critical thinking to support young people. The resulting collection of best practices and educational materials will become a lasting resource, enabling the continuous professional development of youth educators and contributing to higher-quality and more innovative youth work.
