PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The project's main objective is to support educators in equipping young people with the knowledge and skills needed for the digital and green transformation of cities across Europe.

Specific Objectives:

Increase educators' awareness of the benefits of digitalization and the implementation of the Smart City concept, particularly in the context of future careers, the growing demand for highly skilled professionals, and available educational pathways.
Strengthen educators' digital competencies and promote awareness of the open-use culture as a means of serving society and as an innovative business model.
Enhance educators' knowledge and competencies in using smart digital technologies to support the climate objectives of the European Green Deal.

Expected Project Results:

A standardized training programme for educators, enabling the delivery of Smart City education for young people (covering cybersecurity, Open Data, and the European Green Deal) across all EU countries.
A validated Smart City training programme for young people.
